PTA Board Transition

Updated: Sep 18, 2023

On July 13th, the 2021-23 PTA Board Members met with the newly elected members for the required transition meeting, but it was more than just a meeting. New PTA President, Leanne Scaturro, hosted the meeting at her home, where everyone came together for the evening. Current board members spent time with the person whose position they were now filling. During this time, they learned more about their new volunteer role and gained helpful knowledge from that's person's previous two years of service to our community.

We want to thank the following 2020-22 PTA board members for their contribution to the PTA, school district, and students.

  • Mike Crowl, Presdient

  • Christina Maldonado

  • Krista Martocci Ruiz

  • Rebecca Harvey Cecala

  • Jennifer Zutterman

Meet your new 2023-25 PTA Board Members.

Leanne Scaturro, President

"I joined the PTA because I wanted to be involved in my children's school, inside and outside of the classroom. I want my kids to see me as an active participant in their lives by promoting new ideas and partnerships to enhance their educational experience!"

Michele Reynolds - VP, Membership

"I joined the PTA because I wanted to be involved in my child's education. They were looking for parent volunteers and the Walk-a-Thon was the first event I ever attended!"

Kelly Couillo - VP, Class Parents / Family Engagement

"I think the PTA is the biggest liaison between the parents, community members, and our schools. I want to be as involved as I possibly can with my children's day to day activities and help plan exciting events along the way!"

Melissa Bressette - Treasurer

"I volunteered for the PTA Board to directly impact my children’s school and community. My goals are to help support students’ education, promote open communication and a partnership between school staff and families, and encourage Bloomingdale school district pride."

Madelyn Jelinski - Corresponding Secretary

"I joined the PTA because I want to be involved as much as I can in my children's lives; I want them to know that what is important to them is also important to me."

Christine Aiosa - Recording Secretary

"Being on the PTA is another outlet for me to be involved as much as possible in my children's lives. I want to help plan things that the schools can provide academically and socially for our kids!"
