The governing documents of the Local PTA include these Local PTA Uniform Bylaws and a supplement of Standing Rules for each Local PTA. These bylaws and standing rules may not conflict with the bylaws of the New Jersey PTA or National PTA.

Standing rules are the rules an organization uses to administer its affairs under the provisions of its Bylaws.
