Class Parent
Each year, one Class Captain and multiple Class Parents are assigned to each class from pre-k to fourth grade. For grades fifth through eighth, they are assigned by grade level.
Class Captains & Parents selection will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 1st.
Those who signed up for the raffle will receive an email with a link to the meeting
The Class Captains serve as the main point of contact with the teachers, nurse and school administration. They work with the Class Parents to provide support for teachers and organize classroom activities, while also fostering a sense of community among families.
Here are some of the responsibilities of a Class Captain:
1) Introduce yourself to other parents in the class.
2) Create a list of parents who are willing to help and contribute to classroom parties.
3) Collect donations for parties and teacher gifts.
4) Collaborate with Class Parents to arrange classroom parties, ensuring that food and activities are delegated appropriately. It's important to inquire about any allergies present in the class.
